Ingredients
For the donuts
250 g (1¾ cup) All purpose flour
220 g (8 oz) Milk. You may need an extra 2 - 3 tbsp, check the video for explanation and consistency
7g (1 packet) Dried yeast
Oil to fry
Melted chocolate
Syrup (maple or simple syrup) or honey
Method
For the donuts
In a bowl combine milk and yeast.
Add the flour and mix until combined.
Cover with plastic wrap, and let the dough rise for 2 hours.
Transfer mixture into a piping bag and fry the donuts in hot oil (160 °C / 360 °F). Fry until golden.
Toss the donuts in honey/syrup/maple syrup.
Top with crushed nuts and melted chocolate.
Serve hot.
