Emma Fontanella is a professional pastry chef, recipe developer, and a published author. As a chef, her background is in high-end restaurants and hotels, and in running bakeries. She founded and owns an independent media company, EmMedia, which integrates her digital properties. Emma is known throughout the world for her popular recipes designed for home cooks—she believes the best cooking and baking is done by people in their own homes. She has been featured on US television and in publications such as Reader’s Digest, Parade Magazine, Cosmopolitan, Better Homes & Gardens and more. Emma splits her time between New York in the United States, and Rome, Italy.

With over two million people subscribed to her YouTube channel, “Emma’s Goodies”, and hundreds of thousands more followers on Instagram and Facebook, she is one of the world’s most well-known pastry chefs. Her cooking and baking videos have been watched by hundreds of millions of people. She is the author of the 2023 cookbook, Simple Pleasures which is published and distributed worldwide by DK | Penguin Random House.

As the daughter of the Italian poet, Luigi Fontanella, Emma grew up living in both New York and in Rome. Those early formative experiences in the United States and in Italy gave her a passion for both American and Italian food culture and cooking.

Emma’s audience spans The Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, with her main audience being in the United States.
