Easy Air Fryer Pizza

Easy Air Fryer Pizza!
Take Your Air Fryer To Another Level!

You won’t believe how delicious this air fryer pizza is - I really hope you give it a try! Making pizza in an air fryer is so quick and easy, and much more economical than heating up your regular oven. This recipe makes a 7 inch pizza, so it’s perfect for a mid-week meal or snack.

INGREDIENTS

For the pizza dough

100g (¾ cup) all-purpose flour

60g (¼ cup) warm water

½ tbsp oil

½ tsp dried yeast

½ tsp salt

For the toppings

2 to 3 tbsp of pre-made pizza sauce or tomato sauce

Any other toppings of your choice e.g. cheese, pepperoni, olives, mushrooms etc.

INSTRUCTIONS

In a bowl combine flour and salt.

In a glass combine yeast and water.

Now combine the water mixture with the flour mixture.

Add ½ tbsp of oil onto your worksurface, and transfer the dough onto the oil. Knead the dough by hand for about 2 to 3 minutes..

Form a ball and transfer the dough in a lightly greased bowl. Make sure to also oil the top of the dough and cover the bowl with a plate or plastic wrap. Set aside to rise for an hour to 1½ hours.

Preheat air fryer to 200°C (400°F).

Once the dough has tripled in size, dump it out onto a piece of parchment paper. Using your hands shape the dough into a 7 inch pizza. Do NOT make the pizza bigger than this or the crust won't be soft and fluffy (see video for visuals).

Add the tomato sauce and whatever toppings you desire.

Once the air fryer has preheated carefully drop the pizza with the parchment paper into the basket and cook for 5-6 minutes.

Do not over bake! The top will be golden, the cheese will have melted and caramelized.

Wait 2 minutes for it to slightly cool and enjoy!!

Important things to note

The bottom crust might not be golden but it will be FULLY COOKED through. The color of the bottom of your pizza will depend on your air fryer. PLEASE DO NOT continue to cook the pizza or it will become hard.

Once the dough has risen, do NOT knead it. Just turn it out onto the parchment paper and spread it out using your hands. If the dough is sticky use oiled hands.
