Ingredients

(Makes 2-3 servings)

For the pancakes

100 g (½ cup + 2 tbsp) All purpose flour

32 g (¼ cup + 1 tbsp) Unsweetened cocoa powder

¼ tsp Baking soda

½ tsp Baking powder

Pinch of salt

1 Egg

25 g (2 tbsp) Melted butter

150 g (½ cup + 4 tbsp) Buttermilk OR  150 g Milk + ¼ tsp vinegar / lemon juice)

50 g (3½ tbsp) Sugar

For the Nutella syrup

80g (3 oz) Nutella

Milk (add as much as you like to thin out the Nutella)

 

Method

For the pancakes

In a large bowl combine the dry ingredients and sugar.

In another bowl combine the buttermilk, egg and melted butter.

Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients.

Transfer the batter into a piping bag and pipe small pancakes into a hot pan.

Enjoy right away with melted butter and Nutella “syrup”.

For the Nutella syrup

To make the Nutella “syrup”. Combine Nutella and milk.
