1-Minute Chocolate Frosting

Ingredients

For the frosting

400 g (3¼ cup) Powdered sugar

80 g (⅔ cup) Cocoa powder

150 g (1⅓ sticks) Softened butter

100 g (⅓ cup + 1½ tbsp) Boiling water

60 g (2 oz) Melted dark chocolate - I use 75% cocoa chocolate.

½ tsp Salt

 

Method

For the frosting

Bring some water to a boil and set aside.

In a large bowl, mix cocoa powder, sugar, salt and soft butter.

Add the hot water, melted chocolate and whip.

Refrigerate the frosting for at least half an hour, or until thick enough to spread.
